This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for pest control professionals who wish to join the RentWorks network. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you understand and accept the responsibilities, expectations, and protections listed below.

You confirm that you are self-employed, responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, and legal obligations. This agreement does not constitute employment or agency by RentWorks.

You agree not to work directly with any client, landlord, letting agent, or tenant introduced to you by RentWorks, either during your time in the network or for a period of 12 months after your last job through RentWorks.
If a client approaches you directly, you agree to refer them back to RentWorks and not accept work outside the platform without written permission.

You agree not to share, store, or misuse any personal data or job-related contact details. RentWorks pricing, client information, and business methods must remain confidential.

You confirm that you hold valid Public Liability Insurance and accept full responsibility for any damage, injury, or loss caused during your work.
RentWorks is not liable for any claims resulting from your services.

You agree to undergo a Basic DBS check if requested, especially when working in tenanted or sensitive environments.
You agree to act professionally and respectfully at all times when dealing with clients or entering property.

You agree to:

• Adhere to current pest control laws and safety regulations
• Use approved and safe methods, pesticides, and equipment
• Handle chemicals and traps responsibly and legally
• Wear appropriate PPE and follow COSHH guidelines
• Inform RentWorks immediately of any hazards or incidents

You agree to:

• Complete all jobs to a high professional standard
• Provide before/after photos or reports if requested
• Issue any compliance documentation where required
• Notify RentWorks of any delays, issues, or client concerns
• Cooperate fully in the event of a client complaint or dispute

• You will be paid the agreed hourly or fixed rate, minus any applicable platform or admin fee
• Payment will be made within 7 business days of satisfactory job completion and receipt of required documentation
• Payment may be delayed or withheld in the event of incomplete work, disputes, or breach of terms
• You are responsible for providing accurate bank/payment details

You must supply your own tools, materials, traps, PPE, and treatments unless otherwise agreed.
You are responsible for ensuring all equipment is compliant, safe, and suitable for the job.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentWorks Ltd from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your work or conduct on any assigned job.

Any job-related reports, photos, or documentation submitted to RentWorks shall remain the property of RentWorks.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution.
Failing that, the matter will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

You agree to:

• Be punctual, respectful, and reliable
• Communicate clearly with clients and RentWorks
• Respect client property and privacy
• Maintain high standards of service and hygiene
  Failure to meet these standards may result in immediate removal from the network.

RentWorks reserves the right to remove you from the network at any time for breach of these terms or concerns about your conduct.
Breaches of the non-circumvention or confidentiality clauses may result in financial claims for lost business.

By signing below, or confirming acceptance electronically, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms in this agreement.

A. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in relation to any dispute.

B. Limitation of Liability
RentWorks Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, including loss of income, opportunity, or goodwill. RentWorks’ total liability shall be limited to the total fees received by RentWorks for the specific job giving rise to the claim.

C. Amendment of Terms
RentWorks reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any updates will be communicated via email or through the RentWorks platform. Continued participation in the network constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

D. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance
Contractors agree to handle all personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. Contractors must not store, share, or misuse any client, landlord, or tenant data. Breach may result in immediate removal from the network and potential legal action.

E. No Subcontracting Without Consent
Contractors must not assign or subcontract any jobs received through RentWorks without prior written approval.

F. Platform Role Disclaimer
RentWorks acts solely as an introducer and facilitator of services. Contractors remain self-employed and fully responsible for their actions, insurance, and legal obligations. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, agency, or joint venture relationship.

G. Branding and Representation
Contractors must not present themselves as employees or official representatives of RentWorks, nor use RentWorks branding, logos, or materials without prior written permission.
